📱Calculate feed demand in FarmIQ
Have you ever wanted the FeedSmart equations within FarmIQ? Good news...
FarmIQ has powered FeedSmart (run by Beef + Lamb NZ) since it's inception, and now you can choose to apply FeedSmart calculations in the mobile app!
Our feed demand calculator takes into account gestation, birth records, growth expectations and more, to give you a recommended feed breakdown
It consists of two parts - 1: calculate demand, and 2: calculate number of days a paddock will last
You can access it via mobs on the map, through the stocklist or through the report centre
Unlike with the original FeedSmart program, when you use the feed demand calculator in FarmIQ it remembers the attributes of your animals - you won't need to re-enter the key information each time
The new feed demand feature is available in the FarmIQ Essentials, Performance+ and Pro packs.
Create your own labels on the fly
📱💻Custom labels on mobile and web
Create any new label you want to help group events together and make filtering/finding things easier
It's a custom tag, adding extra context to land, animal and other events: you could create a label for everything related to heavy animals, jobs done by a specific person, or audit-related events and animals
Make your own brand-new label or select one from a pre-populated list of options
Set up new labels and search for them on both the mobile and web apps
Maintain labels on the web app - edit, merge or delete labels
The new custom labels feature is available in all of the FarmIQ packs.

💻 Flexi-stock on the web
Now you can use the new Flexi-stock feature on the web, in addition to on the mobile:
Create a stocklist and add stock to a mob with the ability to override tally numbers
Log events from the stocklist or the map
Do withholding on individual animals, mobs and paddocks (works with the new withholding on mobs on the map feature)
Move animals around the map and have them update in your Flexi-stock tally
Print your map with animals showing
