Hold your horses – we’ve now got horses as a stock option in FarmIQ!

If you’ve got horses on farm, you can now add them as stock in FarmIQ!
Create transaction activities including sales, purchases, births and deaths
Move horse mobs between paddocks, log animal health treatments, and record weights and breeding information
Specify horse age and sex from a range of in-built options, including foals, yearlings, fillies, geldings, colts and stallions
Specify the breed from a list, such as Appaloosa, Clydesdale and Kaimanawa
You can still enter horses as assets if they are working horses as opposed to stock
Horses are available in the FarmIQ Essentials, Performance+ and Pro packs. As with our other stock types, there are different recording capabilities in each pack.

See broadcast location(s) on web. Recently on mobile we released a feature to share your location with other staff and specify whether it is an emergency or urgent task that needs attention. You can now see that information on the web app too, allowing everyone to keep updated.
New functionality to toggle on/off ALL feature icons so you can avoid clicking over and over again. Now you can simply use the toggle to show or hide all features.
When drawing a new feature layer you can keep existing layers on to see where things already are – for example, if you want to add water valve locations as a layer you can keep the water pipe layer on and add the valves on top.
The new map capabilities on web are available in all of the FarmIQ packs.

More people management features on mobile means you can update staff and contractor information more easily whenever you need.
Add new staff and contractors and their employment details, such as role on farm, assigned hours, qualifications, and salary
Choose the type of FarmIQ access and approvals each person has
Update people’s contact details and emergency contact information

📱 Paddock drawing
New map drawing features on mobile allow you to draw or update paddocks with a few simple swipes.
Split internal paddocks into one or more new paddocks
Draw new external neighbouring blocks that you have leased or purchased and see them on your main map view
Edit existing fence lines if you want to change paddock size or make room for a new laneway, for example
